Join us for an interactive theater-creation lab where participants (YOU!) are guided through techniques of embodied theater activation, using original ethnographic material. We welcome anthropologists of all subfields and styles \u2013 especially those with no acting experience! Explore potentialities of theater making for reparative praxis (Blanks Jones 2018; Kondo 2018). Experience nonlinear theorizing and the alchemy of collaborative knowledge production through performance modalities (Vidali 2020, 2023). Our creative work will focus on themes of generational knowledge, elder wisdom, and ancestral voices. During the lab, we will generate a mini performance. Please arrive at start time & stay for duration (2 hours). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
