Their love for each other, almost inseparable beings, supportive, in a pack, shifted to revulsion as I blinked. A crumb of fear and doubt bloomed like mold into a blanket of trepidation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pack leader \u2014 or were there 2 or 3, in various shades and tones, and times? \u2014 was earnest and brave. Feral edges and urgent pacing interrupted, no &#8212; pushed against &#8212; my devotion for them. I willed to not close the space of connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people of flow and god, who let me live among them, never wanted to start or stop.
