Across the floor another audience member has been rapt for what seems like hours. Probably multiple years. Perhaps ones staggered by 5s or 0s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A metal scarf dragging, one of the more elegant attendees stumbled at the edge of our row as he texted furiously, probably to a partner trying to find parking, or a ticket, or the house keys. Later after George\u2019s words wafted like dark chocolate through our ears, and after a box of groundnuts was passed around, said companion entered. They found no seats together. And they missed the savoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My own dog fell asleep at my feet. Big toe on right foot broken, she rested there through the Fall season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
