{"id":233,"date":"2017-11-09T01:25:55","date_gmt":"2017-11-09T01:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/buller\/?p=233"},"modified":"2018-11-10T03:32:31","modified_gmt":"2018-11-10T03:32:31","slug":"apha2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/buller\/2017\/11\/09\/apha2017\/","title":{"rendered":"APHA 2017 &#8211; Atlanta, GA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I presented the findings of a team of graduate students from the Emory Climate Analysis and Solutions Team (<a href=\"http:\/\/climate.emory.edu\/education\/ECAST.html\">ECAST<\/a>) that I co-led with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sph.emory.edu\/departments\/eh\/people\/phd-students\/sam-peters\/index.html\">Sam Peters<\/a>\u00a0working with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlantaga.gov\/government\/mayor-s-office\/executive-offices\/office-of-resilience\">City of Atlanta Mayor&#8217;s Office of Resilience<\/a>\u00a0assessing the potential public health co-benefits of <a href=\"http:\/\/p2catl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Atlanta-Climate-Action-Plan-07-23-2015.pdf\">Atlanta&#8217;s Climate Action Plan<\/a>\u00a0adopted in 2015. The poster was well received and I made connections with state and federal scientists who would like to help with the project. Next steps include disseminating our findings to the public.
