The Course<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Caregiver as Navigator: Developing Skills Online is a six (6) week course designed to help you become a master navigator of the healthcare, legal, financial, and family systems you encounter as a caregiver. We understand you wear many hats. You\u2019re a caregiver, organizer, advocate, and cheerleader for your person\u2026 but you\u2019re also so much more! 

This program focuses on developing your skills in navigating four (4) critical systems that impact your caregiving journey: healthcare, legal, financial, and family. We have identified these systems as vital because they are powerful tools to support you and your loved one. However, navigating them can be tricky; not understanding them can limit their benefits. This course will provide practical strategies and methods you can use in real-life situations. We ask that you try them out, reflect on your experiences, and share them with us and other caregivers through the discussion boards on your class website. You are not alone on this journey \u2013 through this course, you will be in a small community of other caregivers facing similar challenges, and we will provide a safe space to engage, share experiences, and support one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
