Timothy Paulson grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and now lives and paints in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains in Utah. He is a second-generation artist raised by his father, the PBS television artist Buck Paulson. Timothy specializes in creating large-scale paintings that include iconic images like the Statue of Liberty, the Beatles, Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi and more, as well as striking abstract paintings. Timothy's online art gallery can be seen at www.PaulsonArtShow.com.
Timothy is working to develop a new art movement called "Totalityism" that merges art and theology with a Christ focus. He uses the symbol of Totality (as in a total solar eclipse) because it reflects the unity, love, and peace the art movement promotes (in Totality, the sun and moon are in unity, peace falls over the land as nature stills, and the corona dramatically appears to represent the power of love). Timothy is developing the art movement to help lead out in abandoning attitudes and actions of prejudice in the U.S.
Timothy has been married to Kay for over 40 years, they have five children, and 12 grandchildren.
