Having an alternate name that’s anonymous really allows one to open up to how they really feel, especially on a platform such as a blog or forum on the Internet. The fact that no one knows who I am behind the hacker name allows me to openly discuss subjects I would normally hesitate to upload to public domain. This idea sort of goes along with the name that I picked for myself. I chose the word “incognito” because it hints toward the feeling of stealth, or that you’re trying to hide your (true) self, and I chose the word “writer” simply because of the context of this assignment.
