Mentors Program FAQs

What is the time commitment required for participation in the program?

Mentors will be required to attend a three (3) day training program in early November 2021. After successful completion of the training, mentors assigned to a program scholar will be asked to commit to regular meetings with their mentee at least twice a month during the trainee’s entire 12-month training phase.

All mentors will also participate in a one (1) hour quarterly sessions.

Will I be compensated for my participation in the program?

Unfortunately, mentors will not be monetarily compensated for their participation in the program; however, as a result of program participation, mentors will have access to a network of public health leaders from prominent global health agencies and institutions and an opportunity to develop skill sets to enhance their own professional development.
