Pen writing on ruled paper

Instructure will release updates to our Canvas environment Saturday, January 26, 2019. Notable changes in this release and the previous release (on Saturday, January 5, 2019) include:

  • Teachers will see an improved interface in Canvas Commons including previews of shared content making resources easier to evaluate without actually importing them. Click here to read more about Commons resource previews.
  • Teachers can write additional rubric comments in the SpeedGrader sidebar. (Previously additional comments opened a separate window.)
  • For assignments using Moderated Grading, any grader who can to view the Grade Summary page can edit the assignment. (Previously, only the grader who was selected as the final grader was able to edit the moderated assignment.)
