Instructure will release updates to our Canvas environment Saturday, August 17, 2019. Some changes were released on Wednesday August 14, 2019. Highlights include the following.
- All users see external tools with user-specific content links in their Account flyout menu. (Implemented August 14.)
- Students can add attachments in discussions by default. Teachers can change this setting in the settings menu at the top right of the Discussions index page. (Implemented August 14.)
- The Quizzes.Next tool is renamed to “New Quizzes.”
- Teachers can preview assessments and share item banks in New Quizzes.
