Instructure will release updates to our Canvas environment Saturday, October 17, 2020.
With this release:
- All users can access a list of recently viewed Canvas content by clicking the new History link in the global navigation menu on the left.
- All users will see an updated interface in their global Notification preferences page in the Account menu. Icons indicate the present frequency, and clicking them shows other options.

All users have more options to manipulate math equations created in the rich content editor using secondary click. Canvas now renders equations using the MathJax JS library.
