Instructure will release updates to our Canvas environment Saturday, October 17, 2020.

With this release:

  • All users can access a list of recently viewed Canvas content by clicking the new History link in the global navigation menu on the left.
  • All users will see an updated interface in their global Notification preferences page in the Account menu. Icons indicate the present frequency, and clicking them shows other options.
  • All users have more options to manipulate math equations created in the rich content editor using secondary click. Canvas now renders equations using the MathJax JS library.
