This month’s highlight features are a new Text Block item type and the ability to add time to in-progress attempts in New Quizzes.
After the Saturday, May 17, 2025 release, teachers can add Text Block items in New Quizzes. These items have neither answers nor points, and other items cannot be attached to them. They are equivalent to Classic Quizzes text only items.
After the Wednesday, May 21, 2025 code deploy, teachers can add time to an in-progress New Quiz attempt by managing a student’s accommodations in the Moderate tab. The new “Apply these changes to the in-progress attempts as well” checkbox is checked by default. (This feature was delayed from its first announced deployment date in April.)
