I’m currently working on Biophysical characterization of Influenza Virus Hemagglutinin and how its’ dynamics and interactions with cell membranes co-relate with infectivity and host-cell invasion. With the robust spectroscopic capabilities of the group, it is possible to understand the mechanism of viral membrane fusion and kinetics from a fundamental perspective.
My background is mostly in Biotechnology with some prior research experience in protein expression and purification. I am hoping to transition to the realm of Biophysical Chemistry as I progress through my graduate career.
Apart from science, I enjoy cooking a lot, and anyone’s welcome to share my food if you can handle the spice!
