My work focuses on the application of various enzymatic processes to solar fuels research. Enzymes such as hydrogenases and carbon monoxide dehydrogenase can be coupled to nanorod-mediator systems to increase catalytic turnover. The products from these reactions can then be harnessed and used for energy. I aim to further explore and optimize these processes over the course of my PhD.
