As electronic books become more popular, many of our faculty and students have asked about electronic materials in our collections. Some have also wanted to know more about the types of readers that are best for accessing e-books here at Emory.
The Robert W. Woodruff Library at Emory University has access to some academic e-book collections. Unlike mainstream publishing houses, most academic publishers do not have a version of their titles available in popular e-book formats for download to Kindles, Readers, Nooks, or other portable devices; however, many readers have Web browsers built in, and you may be able to get access to some titles.
