The Fulbright Program will support Schainker&#8217;s fieldwork in Lithuania and Israel over the next two summers through a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cies.org\/program\/fulbright-global-scholar-award\">Global Scholar Award<\/a>. In addition, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jewish-museum.ru\/en\/\">Jewish Museum &amp; Tolerance Center<\/a> in Moscow awarded Schainker a fellowship for research in the summer of 2019.\u00a0Schainker is the Arthur Blank Family Foundation Associate Professor of Modern European Jewish History.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Ellie R.
