Candido<\/a>&#8216;s newest book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/books\/wealth-land-and-property-in-angola\/02D42844302D8CB96AEA9214D08D8E43\"><em>Wealth, Land, and Property in Angola: A History of Dispossession, Slavery, and Inequality<\/em><\/a> (Cambridge UP, 2022). A panel discussion featuring Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/anthropology.emory.edu\/people\/bios\/holsey-bayo.html\">Bayo Holsey<\/a>, Associate Professor of African American Studies &amp; Anthropology and the Director of the Institute of African Studies, and Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/history.emory.edu\/home\/people\/emeritus\/mann-emeritus.html\">Kristin Mann<\/a>, Professor of History Emerita, will follow a presentation by Dr. Candido. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 5pm in the Oxford Presentation Room.
