Abrahamson&#8217;s thesis, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/etd.library.emory.edu\/concern\/etds\/p5547s907\">Women of the Encomienda: Households and Dependents in Sixteenth-Century Yucatan, Mexico<\/a>,\u201d was also awarded the Maureen Ahern Award from the Latin American Studies Association \u2013 Colonial Section. Abrahamson is currently\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/academics\/programs\/historyfaculty\/hannah-r-abrahamson\">Assistant Professor of History<\/a>\u00a0at the College of the Holy Cross.
