The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/politico-nightly\/2023\/12\/05\/the-slow-dismantling-of-the-voting-rights-act-00130245\">eighth circuit federal appeals court overturned Section 2 of the Act<\/a>, which gives private citizens the right to sue in the name of fair voting rights. Anderson appeared alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/judith-browne-dianis-99726211\/\">Judith Browne Dianis<\/a>, Executive Director of the Advancement Project.
