Sami Schalk to give 2026 Kemp Malone Lecture

Sami Schalk (Professor of Gender & Women’s Studies, University of Wisconsin) will present “Studying Pleasure Spaces for Multiply Marginalized People” on Thursday, April 2nd, from 1-3 pm in White Hall 208. Sponsored by GEAC (Graduate English Advisory Committee), the Kemp Malone Lecture Series brings in renowned scholars to discuss their advanced research and engage with graduate students and their work.

Following the lecture, Prof. Schalk will be holding a workshop for graduate students.
