As members of the Emory Environmental Justice Organization (EEJO), we have 3 main goals:
(1) Foundation Building: working with faculty, EEJO would like to grow more opportunities for students to learn about and participate in EJ-related research or outreach activities
(2) Science Communication: to promote the equitable sharing of knowledge, EEJO plans to develop training seminars, coursework learning goals, and student competitions to grow science communication skills among students
(3) Community Engagement: EEJO aims to build lasting partnerships with local EJ-related community movements and encourage public outreach through venues such as the Atlanta Science Festival
