MCH Epidemiologist Supervisor, Montana DPHHS

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has an opening for an MCH Epidemiologist Supervisor in the Family and Community Health Bureau. This position will oversee the Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Unit within the Epidemiology and Data Support Section. The MCH Epidemiologist Supervisor will be responsible for serving as the Project Director and Lead Epidemiologist for the Montana Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) as well as supervising the data system and epidemiology staff supporting the Montana Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant (MCHBG). The MCH Epidemiology Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of MCHBG program needs assessments and evaluations, continuous quality improvement activities, and the design of data collections to monitor MCHBG program performance measures. As the lead PRAMS Epidemiologist, the MCH Epidemiologist Supervisor will be responsible for authoring PRAMS surveillance reports and serving as the subject matter expert on the PRAMS dataset for all internal and external partners using PRAMS.
