The Center for HIV and Mental Health Stigma Elimination Strategies (CHIMES) is seeking different types of proposals to advance opportunities related to career development among graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-stage investigators* conducting HIV, stigma and/or mental health research. Applications submitted by early-stage investigators will be prioritized.

CHIMES funding is available through an NIH P30 Center grant (P30MH136919) held between Johns Hopkins University and Emory University.
*Early-stage investigators: An applicant “who has completed their terminal research degree or end of post-graduate clinical training, whichever date is later, within the past 10 years and who has not previously competed successfully as PD/PI for a substantial NIH independent research award.”
To Apply:
- Graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-stage investigators from both Johns Hopkins University and Emory University are eligible to apply.
- Applications for funding will be accepted continually, with decisions made on a rolling basis (within one week of submission).
