Category : News/Events

Description

Join the Society for Epidemiologic Research for this overview of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) Applied Epidemiology Fellowship Program.

CSTE, in collaboration with CDC, the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, and the Health Resources and Services Administration, established the Applied Epidemiology Fellowship to train recent graduates in the expanding field of applied epidemiology. The goal: provide a high quality training experience and to secure long-term career placement for Fellows at the state or local level. Participating fellows receive two years of on-the-job training at a state or local health agency under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

The webinar, sponsored by the Society for Epidemiologic Research Membership and Nominations Committee, will feature Amanda Masters, MPH, CSTE deputy director of governance, strategy and support, and Robert C. Orellana, PhD, MPH, Senior Epidemiologist, CDC Foundation, and an SER member since 2007.
