Resilience for Innovators with Brendan Ozawa-de Silva

Develop the resilience you need to persevere in your innovative work

When you attend this workshop, you will:

  • Participate in an experiential introduction to the neurophysiology of resilience
  • Learn how to incorporate practical body-based tools for resilience and well-being into your everyday life and work
  • Creatively explore the potential of innovation to contribute to interpersonal, social, and cultural resilience

Brendan Ozawa-de Silva, PhD, is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory. His research focuses on the scientific study of compassion, empathy and other prosocial emotions and their cultivation in educational, carceral, and other settings.
