Dear Class Participants,

Welcome to our new scholar blog site. Each week you should find the précis for the week posted here by Monday at 5 PM and can contribute your own comments or questions by Tuesday at 5 PM. I hope that this will make us a more interactive and mutually supportive class.

This class is asking you not just to master a new body of material but really a new way of thinking and it will only work to the extent that you actively participate in thinking carefully through these readings and through our discussions.
