Animal Research

Research involving animals must be approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Please see Emory’s process for obtaining IACUC forms

Human Subjects

Research involving human participants must be reviewed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).  The job of the IRB is to think about the proposed research from the perspective solely of the participants.

An undergraduate project using human participants (this includes the use of data collected from surveys) must also be approved by the IRB in order to be considered for publication in EURJ.
