On December 6th, Film and Media’s Dr. Beretta E. Smith-Shomade will speak at First Fridays, a series in which Emory College faculty present their research on race, difference, and equity. She will discuss her recent book, Finding God in All the Black Places: Sacred Imaginings in Black Popular Culture, with Professor Dehanza Rogers and Dr. Nsenga Burton.
