This fall, Emory Cinematheque presents its first collaborative film series: “1975: A Year In Cinema”. With each film selected by a different member of the Film and Media Department’s faculty and staff, the series celebrates a monumentally significant year for filmmaking with an eclectic lineup of titles. To kick off this season of weekly free screenings, Film and Media professors, Dr. Daniel Reynolds and Dr. Matthew Bernstein appeared on an episode of WABE’s City Lights. In conversation with host, Kim Drobe, they highlight titles including Nashville, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Battle of Chile and illuminate the enduring importance of these films.
