Professor James Pellerito’s documentary short film, I Wanted to Hear Your Voice, continues to take film festivals by storm. The film, which features the work of other Film and Media Department people, appeared in a number of prestigious film festivals this fall. I Wanted to Hear Your Voice screened at Tirana International Film Festival (Academy-qualifying), Tallgrass Film Festival, Montclair Film Festival, Boston GlobeDocs, DocsMX, Aesthetica Short Film Festival (BAFTA-qualifying), and Saint Louis International Film Festival (Academy-qualifying).
Most recently, the film screened in-person at DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in the United States. It will screen virtually at the festival for the rest of November. Get your ticket to see the film here!
In December, the film will appear in the Rome International Documentary Festival, and in February, in DOCUTAH International Film Festival.
