Professor Interviewed in NYT about HBO Max’s “The Pitt”

In January 2025, Warner Brothers Television launched The Pitt on HBO Max, an emergency room drama series highly similar to ER, the classic 1990s TV show created by Michael Crichton. The Pitt‘s development has had no involvement with Michael Crichton’s estate, and the writer’s widow, Sherri Crichton is suing Warner Brothers Television for its unlicensed use of Crichton’s property.
