  1. Check out a Business Kindle: There are over 150 business books, including bestsellers and career books. You can borrow a Business Kindle for 30 days.
  2. Sign-up for and use what’s left of your access to the Wall Street Journal and New York Times apps: As a Goizueta student, you get a digital subscription to both of these world renowned newspapers. Simply follow the instructions provided in the links for each publication.
  3. Set up a Career Research Consultation: Whether you are a new to the workforce or experienced and planning a career change, Goizueta Business Library has resources that will help you target the right companies and gain confidence and intelligence to ace your interviews.
  4. Visit the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Books Library: The Rose Library has an impressive display area that showcases items from Emory’s archives and rare books collection, such as artist prints, first editions, original papers and notes of some of the greatest American thinkers, and much more. There are also splendid views of the campus and beyond on the balcony.
  5. Attend a lecture in the Robert W. Woodruff Library Jones Room: The Woodruff Library hosts a number of lectures sponsored by various campus organizations and departments. For example, the James Weldon Johnson Institute for the Study of Race and Difference has organized several lectures throughout the semester in the Jones Room featuring visiting scholars such as Dr. Brittney Cooper (Assistant Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Africana Studies, Rutgers University) and Dr. Muniba Saleem (Assistant Professor of Communication Studies, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor).
  6. Get to know your Alumni library privileges: As a Goizueta Business School graduate, you will continue to have access to many library resources including selected databases, Emory’s print collection, and consultations with business librarians.
  7. Curl up with a book (or your last few course readings) in the Matheson Reading Room: Fondly referred to as the “Harry Potter Room,” the Matheson Reading Room is an architecturally impressive space with large wooden tables and comfortable seating. It’s one of the designated quiet study areas in Woodruff Library and is a great location to induce focus and productivity. You’ll also find the library’s large collection of international newspapers and academic journals here.
