Why doesn’t the business library have CapIQ?

Yes, CapIQ is a very popular database and we get this request from other students as well. The Goizueta Business Library tries to provide access to a broad suite of resources that align with databases students are exposed to at internships and jobs. Unfortunately, due to tight library budgets and the high cost of many commercial databases, we do have to limit the number of resources we can license.

We subscribe to many excellent databases that replicate much of the content found in CapIQ.

We currently license the following Wall Street Financial Platforms:

LSEG Workspace (formerly Eikon): U.S. and international public company financials, pricing, deals, fixed income, global market, economic data. Goizueta also licenses Wall Street analyst reports via LSEG.

Factset: U.S. and international public company historical and current financials, pricing, deals, fixed income, global market, economic data, and more.

Bloomberg: U.S. and international public company historical and current financials, pricing, deals, supply chain, fixed income, global market, economic data, and more.

PitchBook: Research firms and deals by industry and financing history. Includes startups, VC and PE-backed companies, as well as mature private and public firms.
