Mobile commerce and social commerce is booming in China because WeChat integrates everything consumers want to do into one application. WeChat is emerging as a dominant player in the mobile messaging app world. It integrates instant messaging, social media, mobile games, mobile payment, ecommerce and online-to-offline commerce into one platform. Dr. Guoxin Li will give an overview of mobile and social commerce development related to WeChat in China.
