{"id":2117,"date":"2019-08-05T14:59:54","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T14:59:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/gbsl\/?p=2117"},"modified":"2019-08-05T14:59:54","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T14:59:54","slug":"economist-intelligent-unit-eiu-content-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/gbsl\/economist-intelligent-unit-eiu-content-changes\/","title":{"rendered":"Economist Intelligent Unit (EIU): Content Changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This summer we made some changes in the content we license from the EIU. \u00a0Due to redundancy in content in other resources and low usage, we decided not to renew EIU\u2019s Viewswire, Data Tool, and Financial Services Report.\u00a0 But don\u2019t worry! \u2013 comparable credible data is available in sources such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/business.library.emory.edu\/research-learning\/databases\/wdi.php\">World Development Indicators<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/business.library.emory.edu\/research-learning\/databases\/passport.php\">Passport\u2019s Statistics<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/business.library.emory.edu\/research-learning\/databases\/imf.php\">International Monetary Fund\u2019s databases<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You continue to have access to EIU\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/business.library.emory.edu\/research-learning\/databases\/eiu.php\">Economist.com<\/a> magazine and digital special reports, and its <a href=\"http:\/\/business.library.emory.edu\/research-learning\/databases\/eiu.php\">Country and Country Commerce Reports<\/a>.
