Welcome to our account of the 2015 Global Connections travel experience to Japan, “Seeking Peace: Embodying Peace and Justice in Postwar Japan.”  Global Connections is a co-curricular experiential learning program at Oxford College of Emory University.

This is a blog produced after-the-fact, as we lost data on our real-time blog.  Posts indicate dates of travel in the titles, and student reflections are offered roughly in the sequence that they were authored.  We figure that one can travel vicariously at any time!

“Posts,” at left, features all the blog posts in reverse order, with the most recent first (following blogging convention).  The July 2015 “Archive,” also at left, will take you to the very beginning of the [May 2015] trip.

Tabs across the top give a wealth of background information about the trip, its leaders, and relevant supporting divisions at Oxford College of Emory University.

Images are the property of their respective owners– all participants with the Global Connections program– and may not be used without permission.  All inquiries can be sent through the blog.

Please use hotlinks in green throughout the posts (including those above) for more information about sites and activities!

Please stop and comment as you read– we’d love to hear from you!

– Dr. Jill Petersen Adams, Global Connections 2015 Co-Leader
