The Halle Institute for Global Research and Learning in partnership with the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (CFDE) offers the Global Atlanta Innovative Teaching (GAIT) grants. Emory embraces its home campus in Atlanta as a gateway to the world. In keeping with that value, the purpose of the GAIT Grant is to foster the development of curriculum with international scope.
These grants are open to full-time regular faculty and postdocs who are interested in using new pedagogies to put “domestic” and “international” issues into conversation by using Global Atlanta as a classroom. Grants are up to $3000 and applications can be submitted by individuals or by faculty-led teams.
