Congratulations to Professor Bamba Ndiaye for organizing the First Edition of the Dakar Publishing and Grant Writing Academy on July 27, 28, & 29 at the West African Research Center (WARC) in Dakar, Senegal, with the generous support of the CAORC and WARA.

This academic endeavor targets graduate students and junior faculty from public universities in Senegal and The Gambia.

Participants will be trained to write research grants and learn about the process of getting published in reputable peer-reviewed journals in Africa and outside the continent. Participants will engage with journal and book editors and scholars with considerable experience in publishing and grant writing. We wish him well as he plans to organize the Publishing and Grant Writing Academy annually in collaboration with universities on the African continent.
