Joseph Makanjuola, Research Biomedical Engineer

Background and Interests: Joseph Makanjuola completed his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. In 2017, he joined the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute’s (KITE-TRI) SleepdB Team as a Research Engineer. He was responsible for managing collection and analysis of sleep data, for the design and development of novel algorithms and devices. Prior to this role, Joseph also designed signal processing software for the University of Guelph’s Human Health Science division, Canada. His current role with the Motion Analysis Lab includes software and hardware management and project co-ordination. Joseph is interested in biomedical signal processing, software development and innovative medical technology.
