James is a saltwater aquarium enthusiast.

James has joined the TOC where he will be doing switch and DNS administration, eventually aiding with the network management project.

Before coming to Emory, James spent seven years as the sole tech lead at Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School in Athens, GA. He also worked for a small network provider called NEGIA as a system administrator and help desk analyst.

James received a degree in Psychology (with a minor in Computer Science) from Clemson University and Master of Secondary Education from Piedmont College.

A native of Lilburn, GA, James enjoys learning new programing languages and is a saltwater aquarium enthusiast. His favorite fish is the Royal Blue Tang (just like Dorie from Finding Nemo). He also spends time with his 2-year-old daughter and his veterinarian wife. “She’s the smartest person I know!” says James.
