Mark began working as the new weekend and evenings Library Service Desk Supervisor on March 10. The weekend and evenings shift includes Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 2:30 until 11:00 p.m. Mark came from the Pitts Theology Library, where he had served as the Evening Circulation Specialist since 2011. Before coming to Emory, Mark managed a jewelry store for James Avery Craftsman.

Raised in Jacksonville, FL, Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA.

For fun, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Melanie and keeping up with his two teenage sons. He also constantly works with a pair of young rescue puppies, a cockapoo and a shih tzu, who are best friends.
