Haniya Vaid (pronounced ha-NEE-ya VADE) comes to the PMO after working as a Business Analyst III for Emory Financial operations in support of the Procure-to-Pay modules in Compass and the Emory Express interface to Compass. She had worked in that function since 2008, when she worked on the initial Compass implementation and remained to support the modules she implemented. Prior to coming to Emory, Haniya spent 13 years working for Sears Holdings as a Systems Analyst.
Born in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Haniya has lived in Atlanta for 26 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Georgia State University and is PMP certified.
Haniya loves to read and go horseback riding. She is also a proudly-proclaimed soccer mom, happily attending her son’s soccer games.
