Dean Schuh has been promoted to manager of the PeopleSoft (PS) Student Systems Technical team. He will have eight direct reports and will manage the PS Student Admin tool and Adirondack housing administration (how they assign kids to rooms), including facilities management. For the past six year, Dean has been PS Administrator in Enterprise Applications. Before that, he spent three years as Director of Corporate Applications for ING Financial Services.
A native of Elcho, WI, Dean attended the University of Wisconsin – Osh Kosh, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in management information science, finance, and operations management. When asked why he came to Georgia, Dean said, “I was a traveling consultant and realized that traveling in the winter months in WI was not for me. I decided to move to a warm weather destination.”
Dean’s favorite hobby is offshore fishing. In fact, he is heading to the Gulf of Mexico soon, where he will be going after tuna, wahoo, and grouper. His largest catch of all time was an 80-pound tuna (the same size as THESE fish).
