Jon rejoins LITS after a 4-month stint at General Motors. He returned to Emory because he was excited about the opportunity presented by the new organization and the prospects of a consolidated DBA team. He also missed the camaraderie. “There is no replacing Linda Richardson, she is priceless,” said Jon.
During his career, Jon has worked in all areas of database administration and has effectively managed global teams of database administrators in support of mission critical applications. Prior to joining Emory, Jon worked at Thomson Reuters Legal Division in Minnesota where his DBA Team was responsible for the WestLaw application that supports the legal community. Other work locations have included Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Unisys, Mayo Clinic-Rochester, and Koch Industries.
Jon likes playing racquetball with his kids and keeping busy with their school activities.
