Angela Ward (Web Design Services) joined the team as a web developer. Before coming to Emory, Angela was at McMillan Higher Education where she spent 2.5 years as a business analyst and prototype developer. In that role, she did documentation and development supervision. She also spent 7 years at the Cartoon Network and 7 years at Weather.com as a senior web developer.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Angela received her degree in applied learning and development (elementary education). She is a native of Ft. Worth, TX. Angela came to Georgia because she has family here.
For fun, Angela plays roller derby. In fact, she founded both the Atlanta Junior Roller Derby (ages 8 – 17) and the Atlanta Rollergirls. Angela coaches of a pair of roller derby teams and is the executive director of the Atlanta Junior Roller Derby League.
