Richard Xing comes to Emory after spending two years as a senior Java developer for Verizon Wireless. He also worked in the same role for two years at General Motors and fourteen years at Home Depot.
A native of Beijing, China, Richard received a bachelor’s degree in international business at Beijing University of International Business. He moved to the US in 1992 and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer information systems from Georgia State University.
A father of two girls (9 and 5), Richard and his wife Sharon Wei spend a lot of time with them. Richard is also into fitness and likes to run 10k races.
“It’s very exciting to work on new technologies,” said Richard. “I am looking forward to working on enterprise software integration projects.”
