Terry Parrish, Software Engineer III, Application Development

Terry Parrish is a new software engineer III for the Application Development team, which helps researchers find solutions for the medical community. Before Emory, Terry was a principle engineer for three years at GuardTime, a cyber security company. He also was a software engineer for Dreamworks and principle engineer for Direct TV.

Born in Athens, GA, Terry received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from North Carolina A&T and his master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Terry loves playing basketball. He and his wife Tamika recently had twins, a boy and girl, named Taryn and Thomas.

“It’s a laid back environment here at Emory. The emphasis on work-life balance is very important to me,” said Terry.
