Essandoh Abaidoo, Informatics Analyst II, Lab Informatics

“I like the pace and that there is a lot more consensus building.” – Essandoh Abaidoo

Essandoh Abaidoo (pronounced eh-SAN-doh ah-BAY-doh) is the newest informatics analyst to join UIT. He used to work as a LabWare consultant at Certified Labs and spent eleven years at Forest Laboratories, where he was a network administrator and a senior systems analyst.

A native of Willingboro, NJ, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry\molecular biology from Stockton University. He also has an ITIL certification.

Essandoh spends most of his free time with his wife and two kids, one 3 and one about to turn 2. He also likes to play soccer and do photography.

“Life at Emory is much different than the corporate environment I am used to,” says Essandoh. “I like the pace and that there is a lot more consensus building.”
