John McCool is the newest PeopleSoft Developer IV in Enterprise Applications. He has been working as a consultant most of his career. John worked for PeopleSoft in the mid to late 90’s, then worked on various consulting engagements until 2010 when he took a job with a local company called Radiant Systems. He later came to Emory on the Compass project as a consultant.
Born in Pennsylvania, and raised in Enterprise, Alabama, John has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from University of Miami, Florida.
“I love working with the Student Applications team, but honestly I enjoyed working with the Financials and HR teams as well,” said John. “I was very excited at the opportunity to work at Emory as a full-time employee. Emory provides a great work environment with a lot of effort put into work/life balance.”
