JC Oggs, Desktop Consultant II, Desktop Support

JC Oggs is the newest desktop consultant to join LITS, and he is situated in the 1599 Building. He spent five years doing desktop consulting in the medical IT field, working with pathologists to program and maintain microscopes and the programs that interact with them. He also spent fifteen years in the Air Force, working in IT communications and as a paralegal/IT manager. He was stationed in Florida, Korea, Georgia, and England.

JC grew up in a military family and was born in London, England. Interestingly, he was born on the same base where he would eventually be stationed as an adult. He spent most of his childhood in Georgia. JC is currently studying cloud computing and system administration.

Raised by a family of musicians, JC is a professional drummer. He used to play for a cover band called Social Hour and currently plays for the Community Christian Church.
